Element Electronics is seeking an Engineering Manager to drive manufacturing excellence and operational innovation at their South Carolina facilities, leading the company's expansion into new product categories and shaping the future of American manufacturing.
Requirements
- 7+ years of progressive engineering experience with at least 3 years in management roles
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams and driving operational improvements
- Strong technical foundation in manufacturing processes, quality systems, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Lean Manufacturing expertise (Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S certifications preferred)
- Advanced project management skills (PMP, Agile, or similar certifications a plus)
- Experience with automation and Industry 4.0 technologies
- Track record of successful facility startups or expansions
Responsibilities
- Lead new production line setup and optimize warehouse operations using data-driven methodologies
- Design and implement scalable production and quality processes across our SC facilities
- Spearhead facility expansion projects, establishing world-class manufacturing capabilities
- Oversee critical projects from conception to completion, providing executive leadership with comprehensive status reporting and analysis
- Implement lean manufacturing practices through hands-on Gemba walks and assessments
- Lead cross-functional automation initiatives to optimize production efficiency and quality
- Partner with Manufacturing, Warehouse, and Quality teams to drive process improvements and new product development

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, or related field) or equivalent combination of education and experience
