Frencken America is seeking an experienced Engineering leader to supervise and lead a team of engineers in developing, testing, modifying, and creating solutions to technical problems related to mechatronic systems, motors, generators, sensors, and electro-mechanical projects.
Requirements
- Ten (10) years' engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in the following areas: tooling, fixture design, computer-aided design, general machine shop/tool room practices
- Experience utilizing CAD software.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead engineers, and technicians who design mechatronic systems.
- Design, review, approve, or modify products including frameless and housed motors, generators, sensors and calibration equipment, encoders, as well as multiple precision electro-mechanical projects and prototypes, instrumentation and automation.
- Review and design manufacturing processes
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
- Research and analyze customer specifications and data to evaluate the cost, manufacturability, and design of a new product or change to existing product.
- Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.
- Research, design, evaluate, and maintain products, equipment, systems and processes to meet requirements, applying knowledge of engineering principles.

- Hire, train, and mentor other engineers and support staff.
- Strong writing, documentation and speaking skills
- Strong team leadership/project management experience
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
