Walter USA is seeking an Engineering Manager to support their Endmills manufacturing unit by improving routings, manufacturing processes, maintenance strategies, and driving digital transformation initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements
- Manage system such as Epicor, SAP, Design software for Anca, Rollomatic and Walter cutting grinders machines to guarantee problem free production.
- Create and improve CNC programs for new and active products.
- Use Inventor, Rollomatic, Walter and Anca software to create drawings and its manufacturing processes.
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity protocols to protect manufacturing IT systems and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Leverage data analytics from production and IT systems to identify trends, predict maintenance needs, and drive process improvements.
- Oversee the integration, maintenance, and optimization of IT systems, including ERP (SAP, Epicor), manufacturing execution systems (MES), and IoT-enabled equipment for real-time monitoring and data collection.
- Collaborate with IT vendors and internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve system outages or performance issues.
