A well-established prestress concrete manufacturing plant is seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to lead and oversee all phases of engineering and drafting operations. This leadership role is responsible for managing internal and external engineering resources, ensuring project compliance, and supporting production through technical expertise and strategic planning.
Requirements
- Proficient in Word, Excel, AutoCAD, Revit, and precast design software
- Minimum 5 years of experience in precast concrete engineering
- Strong understanding of precast manufacturing processes
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all engineering projects to ensure compliance with company standards, state/federal regulations, and client specifications
- Perform quality control checks to ensure the safety, reliability, and effectiveness of all products
- Supervise the installation of engineering-related equipment and software
- Coordinate with production teams to resolve design-related issues and ensure manufacturing alignment
- Oversee the development and implementation of engineering processes, standards, and drafting tools
- Maintain company certificates of authorization and serve as managing agent per state licensure requirements

- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Missouri or ability to obtain via reciprocity
- Experience managing engineering and drafting teams
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills
