Requirements
- Expertise in object oriented software development with a deep understanding of scalable distributed systems like Cassandra, Solr, Kafka, Spark and/or Hadoop
- Experience building AI/ML Platforms and A/B Testing
- Experience building and scaling systems both on premise and the cloud
- Strong technical leadership skill, proven experience architecting, developing and deploying internet-scale, distributed and critical services
- Experience working on complex problems and systems where scalability and performance are very meaningful (every millisecond counts)
- Strong problem solving and debugging skills
- Experience with cloud based technologies
Responsibilities
- Manage, design and develop secure and scalable back-end systems
- Lead a team of engineers to design, develop, and implement solutions, including using open source, and building tools, frameworks, and components
- Work closely with data scientists to improve and scale the Serving platform
- Design and build best of breed systems for dealing with complex and ever-growing platform needs
- Develop solutions that return results within milliseconds going through terabytes of data
- Implement systems that are used by thousands of advertisers, publishers and developers
- Architect for a hybrid cloud environment
