Camgian is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead, mentor, and support a growing team of engineers, ensuring their work aligns with product roadmaps and fostering a culture of excellence.
Requirements
- Background in one or more technologies or programming languages, such as C++, Python, GoLang, Java, JavaScript, Machine Learning, Signal Processing, Data Science, SQL, with experience in development.
- Strong background in one of the disciplines such as Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Signal Processing, Machine Learning, Data Science, Data Engineering.
Responsibilities
- Oversee software projects, ensure the engineers are working within program management timelines, quality processes are being followed, and performance standards are met with respect to project deliverables.
- Offer technical expertise in design and development, troubleshooting complex issues, and maintaining best practices.
- Continuously evaluate and improve development processes, tools, and practices to enhance team efficiency and quality.
Other
- Minimum of 5 years in software engineering or AI or data science with at least 2 years in leadership or management role.
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, or other project management methodologies.
- Proven experience in mentoring and managing engineering teams, with a focus on team development, growth, and retention.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
