The Engineering Manager at Conway SC Plant will lead and oversee the engineering department to drive innovation and efficiency in durable goods manufacturing. Requirements

- Electrical engineering knowledge supports the maintenance and enhancement of plant electrical systems and automation.
- Project engineering skills enable the manager to plan, execute, and deliver engineering projects efficiently while managing resources and timelines.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engineering strategies that improve manufacturing processes, product quality, and energy efficiency.
- Oversee process control and electrical engineering activities to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Manage engineering projects from concept through completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.
- Drive energy management initiatives to optimize resource utilization and reduce environmental impact.
- Analyze engineering data and metrics to identify opportunities for process enhancements and cost savings.
- Manage and approve/deny capital projects.
- Contribute productivity improvements & commit the profit based on Metglas mid-term plan.

- Lead and manage the engineering department, including product, manufacturing, process, and project engineering teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as production, quality assurance, and supply chain to support seamless operations and continuous improvement.
- Mentor and develop engineering staff, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and professional growth.
- Must be able to spend 70%+ time on the plant production floor (hot environment and PPE required).
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule as business needs dictate, to include days, nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
