Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of leadership experience in Engineering roles.
- Demonstrated success in leading large-scale projects, delivering results within defined timelines.
- Ability to exhibit leadership, reasoning, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Office products.
Responsibilities
- Directly manage the process/controls engineering group.
- Influence and assist with productivity improvements through involvement in the development of new and improved procedures, process innovations, and equipment enhancements to produce both existing and new products.
- Continuously planning for future operational needs regarding equipment and procedural improvements.
- Prepare and/or review engineering change requests/develops and oversees preparation and implementation of all engineering change notices and related document change control.
- Ownership of continuous improvement, process maintenance, equipment modifications, project management, digital transformation, new equipment, sustainability, energy consumption, EPA compliance, facilities, utilities, insurance, and capital management.
- Manage improvement projects to ensure attainment of plant GMI targets.
- Develop engineering action plans to guide timely and cost-effective development of projects.
Other
- Minimum Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Provide leadership and direction to assigned department and team to ensure the safe and efficient use of equipment, employees, and materials.
- Maintain open communication with operations manager, other members of management, and with reports.
- The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) requires Intertape Polymer Group Midland, NC facility to comply with DHS Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards (CFATS) program requirements to identify affected individuals with terrorist ties.
