Requirements
- Strong knowledge of engineering systems and principles.
- Capital expenditure and project management expertise, including budgeting, cost tracking, and vendor management.
- Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and reporting tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of both electrical and mechanical systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field)
- 10–15 years in engineering, maintenance, or project management within a large industrial/manufacturing setting
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the entire engineering program for the company.
- Establish project priorities, timelines, and ensure on-time completion.
- Manage capital projects from concept through execution, including feasibility studies, design, budgeting, and vendor oversight.
- Troubleshoot existing systems and develop cost-effective solutions to operational challenges.
- Partner with the General Manager on strategic projects, construction, and repairs.
- Set department goals, processes, and preventive systems to maximize performance.
- Monitor plant equipment and operations, minimizing downtime and identifying improvement opportunities.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field)
- 10–15 years in engineering, maintenance, or project management within a large industrial/manufacturing setting
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- Exposure to loud environments, mechanical equipment, and varying conditions (indoor/outdoor)
- Requires close, distance, and color vision, plus ability to adjust focus
