Munters is looking for a skilled Engineering Manager to lead their Engineering Department in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to support the design and manufacturing of their air treatment equipment.
Requirements
- 3 years of design engineering experience with air treatment equipment in the HVAC industry
- 3 years of experience in product design using software 3D modeling and 2D Drafting tools (SolidWorks and AutoCAD)
- jigs and tool design for production support
- product structure, bills of material and product engineering
- new product introduction and project implementation
Responsibilities
- Establish the overall objectives and initiatives of the Engineering Department to support the design and manufacturing of Munters’ air treatment equipment, such as Desiccant Dehumidification Rotor and Cassettes, Energy Recovery Cassettes and Dehumidification systems.
- Provide engineering expertise and support to other departments.
- Develop and implement cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods in accordance with product specification and quality standards.
- Recommend and implement improvements to production processes methods and controls.
- Develop ideas for product enhancements and direct design activities from concept design through to feasibility design and detailed final design.
- Interpret requirements and preliminary system design of a configurable product or equipment and produce a design output package that can be used on the manufacturing floor to build the product.
- Coordinate manufacturing launch for new or revised products.
