Olympic Steel is looking to improve its fabrication processes and manufacturing efficiency through the implementation of technical solutions and automation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in metal fabrication, preferably carbon steel
- Experience with aluminum & stainless fabrication preferred
Responsibilities
- Review and implementation of all fabrication technical solutions and technology
- Research, strategy, and design of divisional automation implementation
- Troubleshoot various manufacturing challenges and issues
- Help come up with numbers to measure utilization, and efficiencies.
- Continuous Improvement, looking for ways to improve the plant.
Other
- Managing a team of an Estimator, Process Engineer, and a Design Engineer.
- Run CI meetings.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
- 2+ years of manufacturing leadership experience
