Omada Health is looking for a leader to guide their engineers in delivering innovative, high-quality digital health solutions to support members on their GLP-1 journey, ensuring technology effectively supports members and care providers while maintaining high standards of quality and performance.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in software development
- 3+ years leading and managing engineering teams.
- Hands-on background in software development, ideally with experience supporting mobile and web-based platforms.
- Experience in healthcare and knowledge of security/compliance best practices is a plus.
- Ruby on Rails, React, AWS (RDS with PostgreSQL, SQS, S3), GraphQL, Docker, Kubernetes
Responsibilities
- Own and drive technical roadmaps, system architecture, and engineering processes, ensuring technical excellence and scalability.
- Engage in hands-on technical contributions (~5% of your time) through code reviews, architectural discussions, and performance optimizations.
- Leverage AI tools and collaborate with AI/ML experts to integrate intelligent systems into our platform.
- Make data-driven decisions, continuously improving engineering processes and product outcomes.
- Advocate for modern engineering best practices and help shape the future direction of technology at Omada Health.
- Navigate complex projects within a regulated industry, ensuring security, compliance, and best practices are embedded in all aspects of development.
- Partner with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to align technical strategies with business goals and translate vision into actionable execution.
