Requirements
- Working knowledge of ERP systems
- Working knowledge of the CAD/CAM system use, shop mathematics, sheet metal fabrication, machining, welding, inspection methods, and coatings
- Must be proficient using Microsoft Office products, including Project
- PMP certified preferred (Project Management Professional)
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing and/or cost estimating
- Minimum 2 years leading Engineering efforts on the Department of Defense (DoD) programs
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field
Responsibilities
- Champion and fully support integration of customers quality flow down requirements
- Monitor project plans and execution to ensure technical and work scope requirements, schedule, and budget are well defined and maintained
- Ensure engineering efforts are planned and executed in accordance with company policies, procedures, processes, and best practices
- Assure and verify compliance of manufacturing methods as defined on customer purchase order, drawings, and specifications requirements
- Review and approve all BOM’s, manufacturing routers, fixtures designs and CNC programs
- Lead efforts pertaining to customer product reviews to include production readiness reviews when applicable
- Investigate and oversee root cause and corrective actions on assigned programs

- Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple disciplines with internal and external resources
- Strong people skills, independent problem resolution, proven leadership ability, and the ability to manage the requirements of others
- Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to communicate and read English proficiently
