Legacy.com is looking to enhance its consumer-facing and search experience by translating business strategy into technical execution, managing engineering teams, and ensuring architectural consistency across platforms.
Requirements
- 10+ years of full stack development experience, with proven ability to deliver scalable, high-performance web applications
- 3+ years of leadership experience, guiding teams, setting technical standards, and driving execution
- Advanced proficiency in Next.js, including architecture, performance optimization, and modern front-end best practices
- Strong Python expertise, with experience in backend frameworks, automation, and API development
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools (e.g., Claude, Gemini, GPT) effectively for coding efficiency, documentation, and workflow enhancement
Responsibilities
- Lead development across React/Next.js, Node.js, Python, GraphQL, and OpenSearch/Vector DB systems
- Serve as the primary technical interface with Product and Business stakeholders
- Drive architecture and implementation of front-end, API, and search-layer systems
- Guide integration of AI/ML features (semantic search, LLM-based personalization)
- Enforce coding standards, accessibility (WCAG), and CI/CD best practices
- Manage small pod of engineers and guide long-term technical growth plans
