MLabs is building programmable, intent-based infrastructure on a leading Layer 1 protocol to make blockchain interactions smoother, smarter, and more composable. The company needs an Engineering Manager to accelerate execution across projects, partner integrations, and cross-team initiatives, ensuring technical projects are delivered on time, partner integrations run smoothly, and internal teams are aligned.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of software delivery lifecycles and complex systems architecture (e.g., message-based, event-driven systems).
- Solid understanding of blockchain or distributed systems, ideally with Ethereum experience.
- Hands-on technical background; able to review code or guide design discussions in TypeScript, Rust, Go, or Solidity.
- Experience leading software teams and managing technical integrations across products, platforms, or APIs.
Responsibilities
- Provide architectural and technical guidance, ensuring best practices in code quality, system design, and scalability (especially for message-based/event-driven systems).
- Oversee technical integrations with partners, customers, and ecosystem teams, collaborating closely with Partner Engineers and TPMs.
- Be responsible for SLI/SLOs, incident response, and postmortems; drive alignment on reliability standards and risk tolerance.
- Build and maintain delivery dashboards, timelines, and communication cadences for internal and external stakeholders.
- Introduce pragmatic delivery tools, reporting, and frameworks to help engineering scale efficiently and foster an accountable performance culture.
- Provide regular delivery and technical updates to leadership and partners, highlighting risks early and proposing actionable solutions.
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary engineering team, fostering a culture of ownership, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.

- 5+ years of experience in engineering management, technical delivery, or program management.
