Requirements
- Background in software engineering with experience across modern architectures and cloud-based systems
- 7+ years of hands-on development experience within an agile environment.
- Experience and deep understanding of multiple Agile methodologies and when to utilize them.
- Pragmatic about technology — you have technical depth, but your focus is on enabling others to make smart decisions and move fast safely.
Responsibilities
- Support engineers in making strong technical decisions while reinforcing Gravie’s standards for quality, security, and reliability.
- Champion the thoughtful use of AI and automation in the development lifecycle to improve quality, speed, and developer experience.
- Drive continuous improvement in engineering operations including flow efficiency, quality, release frequency, and overall delivery health.
- Partner closely with Product to define and deliver value, ensuring your team’s work connects to customer and business outcomes.
- Establish predictable and transparent team operations across planning, sprint execution, and continuous improvement.
- Build and grow a high-performing team through clear expectations, consistent coaching, and a culture of ownership and accountability.
- Provide clear visibility into team goals, risks, and progress through data-informed reporting.
