The company is looking to fill an Engineering Manager position to oversee and coordinate the daily operations of a highly skilled engineering team, ensuring company objectives and goals are met. This role involves hands-on support, leadership, and ensuring projects comply with specifications, timelines, and elevator code.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of elevator codes and compliance requirements.
- Must have prior experience working in accordance with ASME 17.1 elevator codes and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with utilizing AutoCAD software
- Thorough understanding of engineering theory and design criteria.
- Thorough understanding of applied math and physics.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Responsibilities
- Provides hands-on support with engineering project requirements.
- Leads and coordinates various engineering functions and operations including quality assurance, sales support, production support, and development of new and existing product lines.
- Ensures projects comply with specifications, timelines, and elevator code.
- Reviews work and projects for technical accuracy.
- Maintains knowledge of new trends, developments, technologies, materials, and best practices; applies this knowledge to continually improve product lines and production efficiency.

- This person would be responsible for leading 3-4 employees and will directly oversee the engineering department.
