The company is looking to manage and improve the engineering of paint finishing projects, ensuring efficient system design, performance, and cost-effectiveness while meeting customer expectations and industry standards.
Requirements
- Ability to apply engineering training to solve the variety of problems related to finishing and specialized processing equipment.
- Skills in current software applications, i.e., AutoCAD, Inventor, Procore and MS Office products.
- Ability to read design drawings required.
- Professional Engineer certification (preferred).
- Experience presenting to a technical society or conference (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Oversee complete system layout and design on projects.
- Apply proper economic and technical judgment to maximize system output without sacrificing performance.
- Build customer confidence by providing engineering leadership through design reviews, quality inspection visits, installation, and startup assistance.
- Direct the design effort and coordinates the efforts of all other team members (i.e. Mechanical Designers, Mechanical and Electrical Engineers, and Field Technicians) to maximize responsiveness to engineering issues as they arise.
- Maintain the team’s focus on expected and actual system performance issues.
- Ensure equipment supplied meets the contract performance objectives, contract requirements, and GKS standards.
- Support manufacturing and field activities with technical interpretations, problem solving, and schedule and quality inspections.

- As the Engineering Manager, you are responsible for effectively managing the engineering of paint finishing projects while building relationships with external and internal customers.
