voestalpine Roll Forming Corporation is seeking an Engineering Manager to oversee all engineering operations for aerospace component manufacturing, ensuring projects meet rigorous standards for quality, safety, and compliance.
Requirements
- BS Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 3 - 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prefer MS or MBA or actively pursuing a degree
- Minimum 3 - 5 years’ experience in a metal fabrication/ manufacturing environment, including experience in a job shop and machining.
- 1 – 3 years supervisor/management experience, leadership skills with teambuilding experience
- Prefer: aerospace industry experience, metal forming, preferably aluminum or titanium; and quality systems experience, AS9100 and/or ISO.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
Responsibilities
- Lead engineering activities and provide specialized expertise across all project phases.
- Execute new projects on time and within budget, ensuring optimal equipment selection and process design to meet stringent industry standards.
- Aligning engineering processes, initiatives, and projects with aerospace strategic objectives, ensuring compliance with company vision, mission, and values.
- Monitor and evaluate emerging technologies to support capacity expansion and productivity improvements.
- Assist in planning or taking ownership of capital expenditure (CAPEX) initiatives to ensure alignment with operational and financial objectives.
- Review and provide final approvals on Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) to maintain quality standards and regulatory compliance.
- Provide responsive engineering assistance to ensure division goals are consistently met.

- EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: BS Engineering or equivalent and minimum of 3 – 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1 – 3 years supervisor/management experience, leadership skills with teambuilding experience
- Travel as needed to customer and supplier locations to strengthen partnerships and address technical matters, ensuring alignment and mutual success.
- Schedule: This position will primarily work eight or more hours per day, five days per week based on business needs
