Phillips and Temro Industries is looking to solve the problem of developing and leading the design of new products and modifications/improvements to existing products in the heating division, while significantly growing the business.
Requirements
- Knowledge of CAD systems and parametric technology
- Background in Engine Technology and/or heating products and applications
- Ability to use PC and widely used software packages, e.g., spreadsheets (Excel), word processing (MS Word), Outlook
- Experience in product design and development
- Supervisory or management experience
- B.S. Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Knowledge of PLM processes and tools
Responsibilities
- Works closely with Senior Management of the Heating Division to define strategic objectives and goals and generate an engineering strategic plan to significantly grow the business.
- Evaluates technical information infrastructure and make recommendations to improve and optimize.
- Manages the design of new products to satisfy all performance requirements and meet or exceed the required product cost targets.
- Ensures that product designs meet expectations (i.e. reliability, aesthetics, customer requirements, regulatory requirements etc.).
- Oversees all product design and the development of testing and validation plans.
- Develop, implement and maintain PLM processes and tools such as ECR/ECO or equivalent.
- Responsible for document change control.
