Rotorion North America is looking to solve the problem of managing human and physical resources in the assembly/production of drive shafts to improve quality, productivity, and reduce costs/cycle times.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts and experience implementing same
- Prior experience in a quality assurance function
- Familiarity with friction welding, balancing, and paint processes
- Familiarity with SAP R/3 enterprise system
- Knowledge of automotive driveline components
- Prior experience with an automotive supplier
- Prior experience with a start-up operation
Responsibilities
- Coordinates production activities with procurement, logistics, maintenance, and quality control activities to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment
- Reviews and analyzes production, quality control, maintenance, and operational reports to determine root causes of problems
- Develop manufacturing processes, flow, and production layouts
- Development of work methods and standards
- Development and maintenance of Mfg. Control Plans
- Coordinate preventative and breakdown maintenance activities for plant equipment
- Responsible for machine, tool & fixture design
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- 5-7 years manufacturing experience
- Excellent communication skills (both oral and writing)
- Ability and willingness to travel (including international)
- Must be available to work all shifts and/or flexible hours
