Requirements

  • Proficiency in Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, reliability engineering, or project management methodologies preferred.
  • Deep understanding of plant systems, manufacturing processes, and industrial equipment.
  • Solid understanding of OSHA, environmental regulations, and industry-specific safety standards preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and solve complex problems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 7+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Proven track record of leading reliability programs, process improvement initiatives, or capital projects.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure engineering activities comply with safety regulations, environmental requirements, and company policies.
  • Develop and maintain documentation and standards for equipment, systems, and processes.
  • Oversee design and optimization of plant equipment, systems, and infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide expert guidance to Operations and Maintenance.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, productivity, quality, and cost reduction.
  • Lead root-cause analyses and implement corrective actions for process deviations or equipment failures.
  • Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies to optimize manufacturing performance.

Other

  • Strong leadership, communication, and people development skills.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience managing engineers, supervisors, or technical teams preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and solve complex problems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.
