Transcend is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Workflows team to build a core execution engine and web-based configuration & monitoring surface for workflows processes, enabling customers to service customer data requests and enforce data minimization/data retention policies.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering
- Proficient in Javascript/Typescript
- Experience building full-stack products, with contribution to both frontend and backend
- 2+ years of experience in managing or leading engineering teams
- Excellent technical communicator to a diverse group of audiences
- Collaborative mindset and proven experience in working in cross-functional teams in a remote environment
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative culture and upholding high technical standards
- Grow the team through hiring and nurturing engineering talent
- Leverage technical expertise in software engineering to guide the team in building robust and scalable solutions
- Review & provide feedback for technical design docs and code changes
- Collaborate with the product team to create and execute the product roadmap
- Take on development tasks and debug production issues when necessary
