TechniBlend is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead and oversee a multidisciplinary engineering team responsible for designing, developing, and delivering custom food and beverage processing equipment integrated with full-scale automation and control systems. This role ensures technical excellence in design meeting customer specifications, regulatory, industry, and company standards, and performance expectations while driving innovation and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Mechanical process, fluid mechanics, and sanitary design principles.
- Proficiency in CAD software and project management tools.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance, safety, and sanitary standards.
- Understanding of PLC-based automation and control systems.
- Ensure compliance with electrical and mechanical standards (NFPA, UL, ASME).
Responsibilities
- Approve and guide development of all engineering documentation and deliverables.
- Ensure robust design standards, mechanical layouts, and control and automation architectures.
- Validate sizing and specification of critical process equipment.
- Oversee full life cycle of project design.
- Conduct regular meetings with Project Managers and Engineering Leads to review progress, address challenges, and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks or issues that may impact project timelines or quality.
- Ensure all designs meet company and customer standards and bets practices.
Other
- 5+ years in engineering roles within food & beverage or related industries.
- 3+ years in a leadership or management position.
- Excellent Leadership abilities including ability to lead cross functional engineering teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including presentation skills.
- Advanced problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to travel up to 15% (Primarily North America with some International)
