Airgard is looking for an engineering leader to oversee and direct staff responsible for the design of Point of Use Abatement Equipment, contributing to engineering excellence in high-tech markets.
Requirements
- Good understanding of Semiconductor processes ability to conduct basic fluid flow and heat transfer calculations to design and select pumps, pipes, valves, actuators, heaters, insulators and other parts and process systems
- Experience with Gas Abatement Systems.
- Proficient with PCs and Printers.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and direct engineering and design staff responsible for the design of Point of Use Abatement Equipment.
- Provide specific direction to designers and engineers through direct supervision, coaching, training, and assistance in engineering tasks, as necessary.
- Manage component selection for system designs.
- Develop and maintain engineering procedures including document control, change management, revision control, and design review.
- Develop and maintain engineering and design standards.
- Maintain accountability for adherence to safety standards in performance and design.
- Review equipment technology and process methods to take advantage of efficiency opportunities.

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing engineering staff.
