Datadog is looking to improve its application security posture and protect itself and its customers from potential security threats, risks, and attacks by centralizing, monitoring, and adopting Application Security policies across the SDLC.
Requirements
- Prior experience in Software Engineering, Security Architecture, Application Security, and/or Offensive Security.
- Stay updated with modern security best practices, technologies and emerging threats
- Passionate about security and want to work on complex security problems, at-scale, in a large multi-cloud environment
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow the Application Security Platform team, directly managing 5 security engineers.
- Define Application Security Standards that proactively address existing and emerging threats specific to the Datadog stack, as well as align with industry best practices.
- Design and build secure solutions to enable teams to adopt security controls through secure-by-default configurations within our platform systems.
- Collaborate with platform and product teams across Engineering to develop secure solutions and defaults, enabling engineers to follow the golden path for secure design.
- Use metrics, measurements and KPIs to sustain or improve our security posture over time.
- Have a direct impact on the Datadog security product suite by leveraging the product internally and continuously providing actionable feedback to Product.
