Requirements
- Proven ownership of CI/CD, Kubernetes (EKS or similar), and IaC (Terraform or Pulumi) in production.
- Strong distributed‑systems and operations fundamentals, with SLO/SLI and incident response leadership.
- Security & compliance awareness (e.g., IAM, secrets management, change controls).
- Experience with streaming, distributed databases, or service mesh.
- Hands‑on background in modern backend languages.
- Familiarity with crypto/web3 environments.
Responsibilities
- Define and evolve backend service standards, paved paths, and shared libraries.
- Deliver high-performing CI/CD pipelines and secure, cost-efficient runtime infrastructure.
- Advance Infrastructure-as-Code, observability, and reliability practices across the org.
- Oversee scalable, reliable data infrastructure aligned with product needs.
- Drive platform adoption through enablement, training, and cross-functional partnerships.
- Build and mentor a high-performing, inclusive team.
- Align priorities, influence roadmaps, and ensure execution of strategic objectives.
Other
- 3+ years of engineering management, leading platform/infra teams of 5–10+ engineers.
- Excellent written communication and stakeholder management; proven ability to influence without authority.
- North America (US, Canada, Argentina). East Coast time zone preferred but flexible.
