Austin Bridge & Road is seeking an Engineering Manager to provide leadership to the Engineering Department responsible for quality, schedule, safety, and design adequacy for heavy highway, rail, and marine structures construction.
Requirements
- Experience with construction design engineering
- Perform appropriate research, due diligence and collaboration with project team when developing design
- Inspect and provide oversight for design to ensure good quality in field
- Show adaptability and good engineering fundamentals in being able to design for a multitude of areas and solve problems as needed
- Utilize correct software in an efficient manner for most appropriate design analysis and development
- Drawings are clear and professional looking with attractive aesthetics
- Mentor, train, lead by example, and supervise young engineers and their designs appropriately

Other
- Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Construction Management or related degree required
- Active Texas P.E. license
