Crestview Aerospace is looking to solve the problem of delivering complex design-to-build and build-to-print assemblies to large aircraft and weapon systems OEMs, such as Boeing Defense, Bell, RTX/Collins Aerospace, Northrop Grumman, and several others, by providing strategic direction and leadership to the engineering functions team.

Requirements

  • Previous experience with aerospace manufacturing, including experience with machining, complex assembly, metals and composites, and systems engineering.
  • Experience with CNC Programming
  • Experience with Manufacturing Engineering
  • Ability to create, support, and enhance specific action plans.
  • Project engineering experience estimating, planning, scheduling, and implementing budget control for engineering work.
  • Experience with NPI and improving existing product efficiencies and yields.
  • Experience with continuous improvements projects.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the engineering functions team, primarily Manufacturing Engineering and CNC Programming.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive innovation and achieve business objectives.
  • Ensure adherence to engineering best practices, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and optimize engineering resources, budgets, and timelines.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing engineering team.

  • BA/BS or equivalent with 8+ years of prior relevant experience or master's with 6+ years of prior relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and years of experience.
  • Generally, has 4+ years of experience supervising or leading teams or projects.
  • Must be able to work in a manufacturing setting with exposure to machinery and production equipment.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US on a permanent and consistent basis without company sponsorship now and in the future.
