Crestview Aerospace is looking to solve the problem of delivering complex design-to-build and build-to-print assemblies to large aircraft and weapon systems OEMs, such as Boeing Defense, Bell, RTX/Collins Aerospace, Northrop Grumman, and several others, by providing strategic direction and leadership to the engineering functions team.
Requirements
- Previous experience with aerospace manufacturing, including experience with machining, complex assembly, metals and composites, and systems engineering.
- Experience with CNC Programming
- Experience with Manufacturing Engineering
- Ability to create, support, and enhance specific action plans.
- Project engineering experience estimating, planning, scheduling, and implementing budget control for engineering work.
- Experience with NPI and improving existing product efficiencies and yields.
- Experience with continuous improvements projects.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to the engineering functions team, primarily Manufacturing Engineering and CNC Programming.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive innovation and achieve business objectives.
- Ensure adherence to engineering best practices, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage and optimize engineering resources, budgets, and timelines.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Lead and develop a high-performing engineering team.
Other
- BA/BS or equivalent with 8+ years of prior relevant experience or master's with 6+ years of prior relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and years of experience.
- Generally, has 4+ years of experience supervising or leading teams or projects.
- Must be able to work in a manufacturing setting with exposure to machinery and production equipment.
- Must be able to communicate effectively.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US on a permanent and consistent basis without company sponsorship now and in the future.
