Aisin Automotive Casting Tennessee Inc. is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead engineering initiatives within their die casting manufacturing environment, aiming to ensure efficiency, quality, and innovation. The role requires expertise in project planning, die design, and process control, with a focus on Japanese automotive manufacturing standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in die casting or related manufacturing processes.
- Strong knowledge of die design, metallurgy, and process optimization.
- Proficiency in CAD software and simulation tools.
- Familiarity with IATF and ISO Standards
Responsibilities
- Oversee the design, and development of die casting dies and trim tooling.
- Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce defects and reduce carbon footprints.
- Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues.
- Ensure compliance with industry, company standards, and safety regulations.
- Manage engineering projects, budgets, and timelines.
- Train and mentor engineering staff on best practices in die casting.
- Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

- Leadership experience in managing engineering teams.

- Must be willing and available to travel to such locations and with such frequency as is necessary and desirable to meet business needs.
