AHC Hospitality is looking for an Engineering Manager to oversee the daily operation and maintenance of the hotel's physical facilities, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for guests and associates, while also managing the Engineering team and department budget.
Requirements
- Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and life safety systems.
- EPA certification, boiler license, or similar technical certifications preferred.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of all hotel systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire/life safety, elevators, and mechanical equipment.
- Maintain guestrooms, meeting spaces, Bistro, and public areas in excellent condition through preventive and corrective maintenance, adhering to Marriott and AHC expectations
- Partner with the Bistro and Banquet teams to ensure kitchen and food service equipment is maintained and operational.
- Support housekeeping and front office teams with prompt responses to guest room or public area maintenance needs.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal building codes, fire/life safety, OSHA, and Marriott brand standards.
- Be aware of and assist with hotel safety programs, emergency preparedness plans, and safety drills.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, certifications, and regulatory compliance.

- This is a full-time position with varied hours between 1st and 2nd shift. Weekend availability required.
- 3–5 years of hotel engineering supervisory or leadership experience
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
- Experience with budget management, vendor negotiation, and capital planning.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
