GlossGenius is looking to strengthen its Growth Engineering team to acquire, activate, and retain customers, driving high-priority business initiatives that directly impact revenue generation, user growth, and company goals. The role aims to optimize the full customer journey and provide data-driven solutions to help GlossGenius move faster, convert better, and scale revenue.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years as a people manager.
- Led two or more engineering pods with a proven ability to lead teams through technical leads or people managers.
- Demonstrated success in collaborating with product/program managers, designers, and peers to develop plans, manage expectations, and deliver new products and features (0 to 1).
- Strong business acumen and customer-centric approach, supported by data analytics skills.
- Solid technical understanding, capable of guiding technical discussions despite this being a non-coding role.
- Experience in recruiting and building high-performing teams for future GlossGenius products.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of senior and staff engineers, understanding their skills and fostering their professional growth to achieve daily tasks and long-term career goals.
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and other teams to define the long-term technical and product strategy and the necessary steps for its realization.
- Prioritize, plan, and ensure team and cross-functional alignment to execute key initiatives and achieve business results.
- Establish and implement effective engineering processes focused on quality and progress in key product initiatives.
- Collaborate with recruiting to build and retain a high-performing engineering team by attracting top talent.
