Teambridge is looking to solve the problem of rigid, outdated, or not built for an on-the-go workforce management tools for businesses that employ hourly workers, by building flexible, efficient, and intuitive solutions for complex workforce challenges.
Requirements
- Strong programming skills in Kotlin, Typescript.
- Experience with designing scalable and maintainable systems.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Familiarity with React, Typescript, Kotlin, Micronaut, PostgreSQL, Redis, AWS suite, hosted with ECS, Github/Slack/Linear for collaboration
- Prior experience transitioning from an IC (Individual Contributor) to a full-time management role.
- Experience in a fast-paced startup or high-growth environment.
- Familiarity managing both mobile and fullstack engineers.
Responsibilities
- Lead a pod of engineers by providing both technical direction and people management.
- Actively contribute to the codebase for the first few months, assisting in system design, code reviews, and hands-on development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Design, and other Engineering pods, to define and deliver on technical roadmaps.
- Ensure the team adheres to best engineering practices, including code quality, testing, and deployment strategies.
- Drive technical decision-making and provide architectural guidance.
- Manage team performance, conduct regular 1:1s, and provide constructive feedback.
- Work closely with recruiting to attract, hire, and retain top engineering talent.

- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership or mentoring role
