This role is critical for the success of the GVH BWRX-300 projects, requiring leadership in mechanical analysis to ensure the performance and successful execution of engineering activities.
Requirements
- Experience performing structural analysis for reactor vessel, vessel internals and components requiring ASME Code compliance
- Knowledge of USNRC licensing requirements
- Understanding of and experience in the nuclear industry and technology

Responsibilities
- Provide technical and managerial leadership for the team.
- Provide leadership supporting performance and program management of assigned work and ensure on-time fulfillment of engineering commitments in accordance with contract requirements, business procedures, industry standards and regulatory agency guidelines.
- Provide the oversight and be responsible to plan, organize and manage the delivery of technical activities/tasks in support of engineering deliverables.
- Responsible for Mechanical Analysis technical proposal writeups including scope of work descriptions, deliverable descriptions and schedules, technical exceptions and clarifications
- Ensure that design requirements are incorporated into analyses and design documents
- Provide guidance and manage external resources to ensure the quality of deliverables, enable flexibility and improved cost positions.
- Responsible for maintaining teams strategic KC&T activities including individual development plans and team critical skill matrix and competence matrix

- The preferred work location for this role is at the GEH Headquarters in Wilmington, NC but qualified remote candidates will be considered.
