Dropbox is looking for an engineering manager to support the growth of their Persistent Systems Organization, which is responsible for developing and managing Dropbox's primary online metadata storage system, a critical and high-scale database system.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of industry experience as a software developer, including 3+ years of experience managing engineering teams as an Engineering Manager
- Experience managing teams supporting and operating services in production

- BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics), or equivalent technical experience
- Many teams at Dropbox run Services with on-call rotations, which entails being available for calls during both core and non-core business hours.
- If a team has an on-call rotation, all engineers on the team are expected to participate in the rotation as part of their employment.
