Teradata is looking to enhance its cloud analytics and data platform for AI by developing scalable data pipelines, observability frameworks, and integrating AI technologies to empower customers with better information and more confident decision-making.
Requirements
- Experience designing and scaling observability frameworks and developer platforms.
- Demonstrated proficiency with AI technologies, including leveraging AI to drive innovation and efficiency.
- Strong programming skills (Python, Java, Go) and experience building distributed systems.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, container orchestration, and CI/CD workflows.
- Proven experience in product development and ownership of core platforms or user-facing features.
- Experience in the Observability & Telemetry domain with exposure to tools/frameworks such as., OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Splunk.
Responsibilities
- Lead and drive the development of scalable data pipelines and observability frameworks in public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Manage and mentor a high-performing engineering team, ensuring delivery, team performance, quality, and on-time releases.
- Oversee the integration and optimization of telemetry and observability platforms, focusing on metrics, tracing, and logging.
- Champion the adoption and integration of AI technologies—including Agentic AI, LLMs, and modern AI tools—into engineering workflows and product development.
- Drive extensive automation for process efficiencies across development, deployment, and operational workflows.
- Implement and optimize cloud-native solutions for high availability, resiliency, and performance.
- Integrate observability and telemetry solutions with CI/CD pipelines to enable robust automation and deployment cycles.
