Requirements
- Experience working on consumer facing products using Machine Learning
- Deep knowledge of software development methodologies with a focus on Machine Learning and Data Science
- Experience working with microservice architectures and AWS / cloud environment
- Solid communication skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders and build consensus with engineers at all levels
- Experience with large scale Machine Learning / Data Infrastructure
- Knowledge of GenAI tools and technology
- Experience with cloud-based technologies
Responsibilities
- Leading, managing, and growing a team of Machine Learning engineers and Data Scientists to deliver highly reliable, performant software solutions
- Partnering with product to maintain a clear technical and product strategy and roadmap
- Mentoring and coaching a team of engineers to maintain a high quality of work, while delivering new features with high velocity
- Making sure the platform's capabilities are built out with attention to security, scale, performance, and uptime
- Working with cutting edge GenAI tools and technology
- Shipping multiple product features to external customers, either as an IC or Manager with large scale Machine Learning / Data Infrastructure
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to build career ladders, steer cross-team events, and help build an inclusive technology workforce
