Applied Intuition is looking to solve the problem of accelerating the global adoption of safe, AI-driven machines by delivering the Vehicle OS, Self-Driving System, and toolchain to help customers build intelligent vehicles and shorten time to market.
Requirements
- Experience with software engineering concepts, including requirements analysis, source control, build processes, design reviews
- Experience with Linux and scripting languages (E.g: Bash/Shell, Python)
- Experience using issue tracking and configuration management tools (E.g: Atlassian Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket, Git)
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical and creative problem solving skills
- 2+ years of professional experience working on safety critical and complex systems such as Robotics, Autonomous Vehicles, Automotive, or Aerospace Technologies
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Engineering such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Robotics highly preferred
- 2+ years of experience leading or managing a team that will make an impact on safety, reliability, and customer trust
Responsibilities
- Grow and manage a high-performing team of Triage Engineers and Scenario Engineers
- Own triage operations: establish workflows for ingesting data, prioritizing failures, reproducing issues, assigning to appropriate owners, and closing the loop with development teams
- Own scenario engineering operations: define a scenario library covering relevant operating design domains, define safety/comfort metrics, partner with product/engineering to drive scenario reuse, and ensure metrics & visualizations support decision-making
- Build tooling, automation, dashboards and processes that enable scalable ops
- Partner cross-functionally with Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Safety, Simulation, and Product teams - align on risk, coverage gaps, root-cause trends, and process improvements
- Define and monitor key performance indicators for both functions
- Influence road-map decisions: provide actionable feedback from triage findings and scenario coverage gaps into product/engineering strategy
