Requirements
- Strong technical understanding of operating systems and how the various layers in the software stack fit together
- Foundational understanding of system software fundamentals
- Experience in consumer products and/or other product development
- BS in Computer Science or related field
- 1+ year of experience as a technical software Project or Program Manager
- Consistent track record of timely project delivery and leading entire project life cycle
- Ability to build relationships and influence teams to adopt standard methodologies
Responsibilities
- Partner with software engineers and managers to define, schedule, and track the team's work
- Bring together different teams from Software, Clinical, Regulatory, Hardware, Research and Design, among other teams, while delivering on cutting edge technology across all our operating systems
- Define, schedule, and track the team's work and also do the same for many cross-functional initiatives
- Deliver on cutting edge technology across all our operating systems
- Work with many different teams across Apple
- Solve challenging problems in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment
- Help innovate and take the most advanced operating systems to the next level
Other
- 1+ year of experience as a technical software Project or Program Manager
- BS in Computer Science or related field
- Excellent spoken and written communication
- Self-motivated and proactive with critical thinking and resourcefulness to drive the project to success
- Ability to build relationships and influence teams to adopt standard methodologies
