Apple's Supply Chain Innovation team is looking to build end-to-end, best-in-class software solutions for Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Product Distribution, and beyond, requiring a role to oversee and manage complex software development from initiation to completion to optimize internal business processes.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, and software product development.
- Experience working in Agile and Scrum methodologies, with a strong understanding of their implementation in software development projects.
- Hands-on experience using JIRA for task tracking, sprint planning, and backlog management.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis, reporting, and project tracking.
- Previous developer experience in Python/Java and AI/ML a plus
- A strong understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, and RAG is a plus
Responsibilities
- Overseeing and managing complex software development from initiation to completion.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, budgets, and risk management strategies.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, Business, QA, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Plan and execute Sprint planning sessions to ensure efficient workload distribution and timely project delivery.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Track and report project status to senior management and stakeholders through regular updates.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.

- 3+ years of experience in engineering project management or a related role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
- PMP or similar project management certification preferred.
- Ability to follow through on tasks effectively and build strong professional connections.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Comfortable working in a multi-discipline, geographically dispersed team.
