Requirements
- Managing tools like Yocto Linux distribution, Atlassian tools like Jira, Confluence and Build systems and Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline
- Experience with managing DevOps, SecOps, Platforms teams and management of tools like various Linux distributions
- Prior experience leading or actively participating in software engineering delivery
- Collaboration with Software PDM (or similar), Product Owners, and Scrum Master in the past is a bonus
- Experience with Agile/Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and traditional project management methodologies
- Strong understanding of project management, the Software Development Lifecycle process
- Strong technical and leadership skills
Responsibilities
- Managing and leading multiple teams of software technical leaders and software engineers
- Providing technical direction and guidance to the teams on software Platforms, DevOps, and SecOps
- Collaborating and managing software projects in both Agile/Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and traditional project management methodologies
- Oversee the Platform OS management and DevOps, SecOps teams to help build robust, reliable medical devices
- Manage all the Software development and test tools and enable the best-in-class software infrastructure tools and practices for the Product development teams
- Manage vendors and tool providers and navigate the annual contracts and optimize for savings across multiple teams and sites
- Own and Manage execution against an aggressive but achievable project plan
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering related field and minimum of 5 years of Software Management experience or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years Software Management experience
