The company is looking for an Engineering/Test Technician to support the execution of product and sub-assembly acceptance testing in a dynamic production and R&D environment, focusing on quality and attention to detail for advanced Unmanned Air Systems (UAS / UAV), advanced radar systems, next-generation weapon systems, and other RF sensor technologies.

Requirements

  • Operate custom and off-the-shelf equipment including network analyzers, power meters, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, digital multi-meters, etc.
  • Experience with C++, C, Python, Java, MATLAB, LabVIEW, or Test Stand.
  • Ability to learn and understand drawings, test documents, and procedures.
  • Experience working in an environment that implements ESD and FOD controls.
  • Experience in factory acceptance testing of aerospace systems or other industries.
  • Experience in all phases of product design and fabrication ranging from initial R&D to full production.
  • Proficiency with various test equipment and diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

  • Performs all duties required to assist with the acceptance testing of various products and sub-assemblies.
  • Run automated and manual test scripts for acceptance testing, software/firmware loading, and sensor calibration.
  • Operate custom and off-the-shelf equipment including network analyzers, power meters, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, digital multi-meters, etc.
  • Identify, document, and perform basic troubleshooting on non-conforming product.
  • Recommends updates for existing processes and reviews test documentation in support of engineering.
  • Verifies quality of tested product.
  • Interprets test results to validate compliance with drawing and other specified requirements.

  • Work in a team setting collaborating with manufacturing, planning and engineering.
  • Lifting, pushing, pulling and/or carrying 25-50 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Walking, bending, sitting, standing, climbing, and reaching for prolonged periods of time on a regular basis.
  • Ability to seize, grasp, turn, hold, and operate manufacturing tools and equipment.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance with current 5 year update.
