TSI is looking for an Engineering Technician Summer Intern to contribute to a real project and gain valuable experience in the new product development environment
Requirements
Major/Program: Electronic Technology or Robotics
Comfortable in a lab environment
Strong desire to learn, self-motivated
Naturally high attention to detail, good organization skills
Work with state-of-the-art development tools
Experience with new product development from beginning to end
Familiarity with engineering drawings and schematics
Responsibilities
Work side by side with engineering professionals to learn to contribute on a project team
Construct, evaluate, and troubleshoot prototype devices
Oscilloscope probing techniques
Record test results, numerical and graphical data, and recommendations
Read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics
Soldering skills
Work with leading edge technology to develop sophisticated electronic measurement instruments
Other
Maintain a minimum CUM 3.0 GPA (based on a 4.0 scale)
Student Status: Currently enrolled as a full-time student
Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship
