TekSynap is seeking an Enterprise Data Architect to design and develop relational databases that align with and support organizational objectives, and to create and execute strategies for data acquisition, storage, recovery, and overall database implementation.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in data architecture, design, and implementation.
  • Experience working with modeling tools such as ER/Win, Power Designer, ERStudio, or similar.
  • Relevant Computing Environment Certification, including but not limited to: M2019 NET, MCITP SA / MCITP EA, CSA:WS2012, MCSE:WS2012 / MCSA:WS2019, MCSM:DS, M2012 NET, MCM: Windows Server 2019: Directory, MCA: MS Windows Server Directory, CCAA, GCWN M

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop relational databases that align with and support organizational objectives.
  • Create and execute strategies for data acquisition, storage, recovery, and overall database implementation.
  • Work within data warehouse environments, focusing on data modeling, architecture, metadata, and repository development.
  • Convert business requirements into scalable, long-term data architecture solutions.
  • Define, design, and construct dimensional databases while producing detailed data warehousing blueprints.
  • Assess the reusability of existing data assets and identify opportunities for expanded analytical applications.
  • Review and refine object models, data models, and metadata repositories to enhance data structures for efficient access and management.
