CACI is looking for an Enterprise Services Manager/Agile Coach to support the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Land Border Integration (LBI) Integrated Traveler Initiative ITI2.1 team. The role aims to improve Agile Software Development and hardware integration practices for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), enabling the team to deliver working software products incrementally and solve complex technical and procedural problems at team and portfolio levels.

Requirements

  • Agile or Scrum Master certification.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Agile coaching.
  • Ability to coach scrum teams that consist of different roles and responsibilities and ability to work with various scrum teams within a portfolio.
  • Working knowledge of Jira and Confluence, Structure, and Jira Advanced Roadmaps (or other suite of agile project management tools),
  • Solid experience in incremental software development projects using an Agile Scrum approach
  • Working knowledge of all elements of the software development life cycle, including planning, development, requirements management, CM, quality assurance, and release management.
  • Experience in estimating techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day activities of a matrixed team supporting Configuration Management, Release Management, Testing, Training, Hardware Engineering, Infrastructure, and Warehouse and Logistics Management.
  • Support ASF enterprise innovations and initiatives, and provide agile coaching at the team, portfolio, and enterprise level to enable success in delivering working software products through an incremental approach.
  • Serve as an Agile Coach who will educate individuals, teams, and contractor and government leadership on how to work in an Agile framework.
  • Remove portfolio impediments and champion the ASF methodology
  • Coach the teams in all scrum tasks like sprint planning, user story mapping, estimations, daily stand-ups, demos, retrospectives, etc.
  • Guide the team and all other stakeholders on DevOps practices (Pipeline, collaboration, TTD (Test Driven Development, and CI/CD).
  • Proactively seek opportunities to use process improvement and re-engineering methodologies to facilitate improvements to team/portfolio/enterprise processes

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to pass CBP background investigation, criteria includes, but not limited to: 3-year check for felony convictions, 1-year check for illegal drug use, 1-year check for misconduct such as theft or fraud
  • 10+ years of related experience
  • College degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems, or a related discipline. Experience acceptable in lieu of degree.
  • Must be available to work a hybrid schedule with an on-site requirement in Sterling, VA
