The University of Texas at Dallas is looking to solve the problem of designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise-wide data integration solutions, ensuring secure, efficient, and scalable data exchanges between critical business applications.

Requirements

  • Strong expertise in Boomi, Control-M, TeamDynamix iPaaS, or similar integration platforms.
  • Proficiency in API development (REST/SOAP), ETL processes, and database integration.
  • Experience with SQL, Python, JavaScript, or other scripting languages for automation.
  • Strong understanding of cloud integration, microservices, and containerized environments.
  • Experience with enterprise security frameworks, access management, and authentication protocols (OAuth, SAML, OpenID).
  • Familiarity with ERP (PeopleSoft, Workday), CRM (Salesforce), and HR system integrations.
  • Knowledge of data governance, compliance regulations (FERPA, HIPAA), and risk management best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise integration solutions using tools such as Boomi, Control-M, and TeamDynamix iPaaS.
  • Ensure scalability, security, and performance of integration solutions across ERP, CRM, HR, and cloud applications.
  • Collaborate with solution architects and IT teams to define integration frameworks, best practices, and governance policies.
  • Conduct technical reviews of integration solutions, identifying opportunities for enhancement.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of data integration platforms, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring data integrity.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance frameworks, implementing access controls, logging, and security protocols.
  • Participate in security audits, risk assessments, and remediation efforts related to data integrations.

Other

  • Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to maintain the security or integrity of the critical infrastructure as defined in Section 117.001(2) of the Texas Business and Commerce Code.
  • Strong problem-solving skills for debugging and optimizing complex data integrations.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead integration projects, prioritize workloads, and drive technical initiatives.
