Markon is looking for a Systems Engineer to support the customer in planning and implementing enterprise architecture, systems engineering, and integration practices to enable secure and interoperable IC Information.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in data quality assessment, data policy development, and governance enforcement.
- Experience with exploratory data analysis (EDA) and basic statistical techniques.
- Familiarity with data reference architectures and data product standards.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise computing platforms, database systems, and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) enterprise technologies.
- Experience in data integration across large-scale systems or organizational boundaries.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of end-to-end data management processes across mission and business systems.
- Assess data quality, identify anomalies, and perform basic data analysis to support decision-making.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, completeness, and consistency by developing and enforcing data management policies and procedures.
- Establish and maintain data governance frameworks, including data sharing rules and security/compliance requirements.
- Develop and maintain integration and transition plans for enterprise initiatives across the IC.
- Draft high-quality technical and analytical documents, reports, and briefing materials that demonstrate strong writing and grammatical skills.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise computing platforms, database systems, and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) enterprise technologies.

- Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
- Minimum 5 years of experience supporting or working within the Intelligence Community (IC).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and high-pressure environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in preparing technical or analytical reports.
