Travelers is seeking a Director, Delivery Lead to join their Enterprise Technology Solutions (ETS) organization to grow and transform their Agile landscape. The role aims to improve the execution of the Program Increment (PI) plan, deliver a portfolio of solutions with speed, efficiency, predictability, and quality, and drive consistency and visibility across value streams.
Requirements
- Experience with ServiceNow Enterprise Agile Planning capabilities and Jira.
- Experience working with various Agile methodologies such as Scrumban, Scrum, or Kanban.
- Programming/development experience preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge and a deep strategic mindset preferred.
- Proven analytical skills and experience making decisions based on hard and soft data preferred.
- 2 years of relevant technology experience required.
- 2 years of Program Management in an Agile environment or related experience required.
Responsibilities
- Optimize the flow of valuable solutions in a multi-team environment by reducing dependencies, hand-offs, and systemic waste.
- Plan and facilitate Program Increment planning events; ensure work is incorporated in Program Increment plans and capacity is reserved for technical and operational enablers, refactoring, and unknowns.
- Design and improve demand intake, prioritization, and delivery workflows.
- Manage dashboards, ServiceNow enhancements, and delivery reporting.
- Track KPIs/OKRs and provide executive-level insights.
- Drive consistency and visibility across value streams.
- Track blockers, risks, product ownership health, and cross-team coordination.
Other
- Five years of experience in an agile/execution role delivering technology solutions on a demanding schedule including delivery of several epics, releases and versions and application of a wide variety of patterns and techniques (i.e., multi-team planning techniques, facilitating retrospectives, dependency management, etc.) preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the line of business with the ability to develop and leverage business and/or vendor partnerships, consult on business priorities, and optimize value through solution identification aligned with business objectives preferred.
- 2 years of people management or team leadership experience required.
- This role may manage others.
