A Hot Set needs to cover news and stories across the global entertainment industry with a focus on people of color, requiring in-depth commentary, statistical insights, historical analysis, profiles, updates, and special coverage to keep readers informed about the evolving role of POCs in entertainment media.
Requirements
- cover film, TV, creator, or business-related content for the site as it identifies with and relates to A Hot Set’s target demographic.
- possess an aptitude/interest in writing about the business side of the entertainment industry.
- possess an aptitude/interest in reviewing film or TV series from various genres.
- possess critical and intellectual thinking skills to write socially relevant fact-based commentary.
Responsibilities
- Write weekly in-depth industry-related articles, commentary, and/or reviews.
Other
- The internship is Virtual and unpaid.
- Metro Los Angeles and New York City residents are strongly encouraged to apply, but location is not required.
