AAA's Roadways Recent Graduate Program is seeking to hire a Data Scientist Intern to help align business strategy with key objectives and initiatives by utilizing big data technology to ingest and analyze large amounts of data, and transform findings into actionable business opportunities.
Requirements
- Experience working with databases and SQL
- Working experience with Tableau
- Working knowledge of Big Data technologies desired
- Working experience with modeling tools such as R or Python desired
- Data Mining/Data Warehousing/Business Intelligence experience a plus
Responsibilities
- utilize big data technology to ingest and analyze large amounts of data
- transform findings into actionable business opportunities
- develop and automate reports and dashboard using Tableau and Microsoft Excel to measure the performance of new data driven implementations and analyses
- use SQL, R, and/or Python to curate data
Other
- Must have graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree within the last 12 months from an accredited University or College with an emphasis on Cyber Security, computer science or technology
- Ability to communicate clearly
- Able to think outside the box and understand the big picture thought process
- Must commit to the entirety of the 12-month program; November 2025 through October 2026
- Must commit to working full-time, 40 hours per week
